Our Story

Kira Martin, Founder of Drink Your Affirmations

Kira Martin is the founder of Drink Your Affirmations — a faith-centered lifestyle brand created to help people become more intentional about the words they speak, the thoughts they believe, and the truths they carry with them each day.

As a wife, mom of four, business owner, podcast co-host, and lifelong believer in personal growth, Kira has seen firsthand how much our thoughts and words shape the way we experience our lives.

How It Began

Drink Your Affirmations really began in my own life. For years, I've been drawn to personal growth and the idea that the thoughts we choose and the words we speak can shape the way we experience our lives.

As I began using affirmations more intentionally, I started writing them on my bathroom mirror and even directly on the glasses I drank from throughout the day and at night. I loved how something so simple could continually bring my attention back to the person I wanted to become and the truths I wanted to believe.

Around that same time, I read Dr. Masaru Emoto's work on water and became fascinated by the relationship between water, words, and intention. I also began experimenting with water using methods inspired by Veda Austin's work. Those experiences made me look at something as ordinary as drinking a glass of water in a completely different way.

And eventually, the two ideas came together. What if drinking water — something we already do every day — could also become a moment to intentionally choose our thoughts, speak truth over our lives, and reconnect with what we believe? That was the beginning of Drink Your Affirmations.

I've found that it's often the simplest things that make the biggest difference. I don't want personal growth to make life feel more complicated. I want it to help us live more simply, more intentionally, and with greater awareness of the good that is already around us. For me, that is where so much of joy is found.

The Simple Things Matter

I believe meaningful change is often built in the smallest moments — what we tell ourselves when we wake up, the words we see throughout our homes, the thoughts we return to when life feels uncertain, and the simple habits we repeat every day.

Drink Your Affirmations was created to place more of those intentional reminders into ordinary life — on the glass you drink from, the shirt you put on, or the gift you give someone you love. Not to make life more complicated, but to help us slow down, remember what is true, and choose our thoughts with greater intention.

Because sometimes a simple reminder, repeated often enough, can change the way we see our life.

Our Mission

To help people build a stronger, more faith-filled mindset by surrounding themselves with words that remind them of truth, possibility, peace, purpose, and who God created them to be.

A Note from Kira

“I believe the words we surround ourselves with matter. My hope is that every Drink Your Affirmations product becomes more than something you own — it becomes a daily reminder to choose your thoughts intentionally, trust God more deeply, and create a life filled with greater faith, joy, peace, and possibility.”

The Research

Water Remembers.
Words Have Power.

The idea that affirmations on glassware could do anything more than look beautiful might seem like a stretch — until you look at what researchers have discovered about water, intention, and human consciousness.

Researcher

Dr. Masaru Emoto

Author of The Hidden Messages in Water

Dr. Masaru Emoto was a Japanese researcher and author who spent decades photographing frozen water crystals after exposing water to different words, prayers, music, and human intentions. His landmark studies revealed something extraordinary: water exposed to positive, loving words — like “gratitude,” “peace,” and “love” — consistently formed stunning, symmetrical, snowflake-like crystals when frozen.

Water subjected to negative language or harsh intentions produced irregular, incomplete, and visually chaotic structures. The difference was striking and reproducible.

His findings, published in the international best-seller The Hidden Messages in Water, propose that water is not a passive, inert substance — it is a living medium that responds to the energy and consciousness it encounters.

“Water is the mirror that has the ability to show us what we cannot see. It is a blueprint for our reality.”— Dr. Masaru Emoto

Researcher

Veda Austin

Water researcher & consciousness explorer

Veda Austin is a New Zealand-based water researcher who has dedicated years to exploring water's intelligence and perceptive capacity. Her work centers on photographing water during its crystallization phase — the brief, liminal moment it transitions from liquid to ice — where it appears to reflect images, words, and even focused thoughts with uncanny precision.

In thousands of documented experiments, water has appeared to form recognizable shapes — faces, symbols, letters, and objects — in direct response to the conscious intentions of those observing or interacting with it. Her photographs have been shared around the world, capturing both scientific curiosity and spiritual wonder.

Veda's work builds on Emoto's foundation and pushes it further: suggesting that water is not merely responsive, but actively intelligent — a sentient medium shaped by the consciousness it comes into contact with.

“Water is the greatest storyteller. It holds memory, carries emotion, and reflects consciousness back to us.”— Veda Austin

Why This Matters to Us

Your body is up to 60% water.
Choose your words wisely.

If water truly responds to intention and consciousness, then every sip you take is an opportunity. Every affirmation etched onto your glass is a deliberate act — a reminder that the words you choose to surround yourself with have the power to shape not just your mindset, but your body and your life. That is not just inspiration. That is science meeting faith.
